Yummy Martha

I got these 3 punches today. So sweet and yummy!
Am I right in thinking that they only cut through paper and thinner cardstock?
I couldn't get them to cut through my doodlebug cardstock.

Not much scrapping going on here this week.
Had a car accident yesterday. A lady reversed into the front of my car. Nobody was injured. Wasn't serious. But I have to give my car up for 3 days to get fixed. Great!!
Why couldn't it happen in the school holidays so I wasn't so reliant upon my car?

Anyway it is getting late. Hopefully I'll have the urge to scrap tomorrow. Might even get stuck into some old pics.

Stampin Up & a card

Here's another card.

I used up some more scraps from my Studio Calico "Apple Orchard" Kit.

I think it has been my favourite kit so far. ( I knew I should have got 2!!)

(this one has a video that I have been furiously trying to upload for the past 3 days......I am going to keep trying, but don't hold your breath!!)

Also got my yummy new stamps from Stampin' Up. I'm already working on my swaps.

And another card

I ended up making another card from my scraps late last night.
Pretty happy with it ;o)


Also went off on a search for punches...still trying to get my hands on a fiskars threading water punch. But I did find some Martha ones. Oh Yum!!
I love Martha!!
Wanted them all....but cut it down to just 3.
Cannot wait till they arrive!!

Sunday Scrapping

It seems to me, that my favourite time to scrap is on a Sunday.

I guess this is when I am most relaxed.

Strange.

Anyway, I just did this using my Studio Calico kit for June, "Apple Orchard"

So yummy.

I am really into bright colours at the moment. They make me happy.

I coated the tree trunk in brown ink, then stamped my woodgrain stamp on it and embossed with clear powder.

Also made a card with my scraps.

Still waiting on my Stampin' Up! supplies. Some should be here tomorrow. So itching to get my hands on some new rubber!!

Seems to be a theme....

Anyway...made these this morning.

The party girl layout was inspired by Courtney Delaura's notice board that she made. Hers turned out way better though!! You can see hers by looking through the webisodes at ScrapinStyle.

Also received the new Stampin Up mini catalogue the other day. So I placed my order today. Well, the second order. I couldn't resist. Lots of cute stuff. You are gonna enjoy it. It comes out on the 1st August.

Can't wait to get my hands on the goodies and start making some things.

Nothing else to report. Got a busy day ahead....so I better get off here and go do it ;o)

Christmas in July

(not sure what happened with this vid - I lost the music somewhere...so just imagine some soothing christmas carols)

Nothing like being organised early.

Now if only I could apply that to my christmas shopping !!

I had a piece of chipboard that I did ages ago. I dipped it in mod podge, saturated with red glitter and then coated with dimensional magic. I found it when I was searching for something else. So I thought aha...card!!

I also used a scrap piece of doodlebug paper that I have had forever, some velvet thickers and some red bazzill.

Anyone else starting their cards early??
