Busy Beaver

Today I made my baby & her best friend (their birthdays are 2 days apart - and my little man is 4 days after that) a little drawstring pouch to put their iphone cases in. Afterwards they can use them to stash their makeup or whatever takes their fancy.
First up - one for my Cakey

I used Ribbon for the drawstrings. I think I prefer making my own out of fabric.
And one for Sam.

They are so tiny. The cases just fit in there.

My Label Crew pack arrived today from Sweetwater. With some custom labels. So so cute. Love them.

Picked up a body pillow yesterday, and ordered some batting. Hoping to finish off my queen quilt and get it on our bed. It is freezing here right now.

One more day of school and then we've got holidays. Hooray. I've only had 5 hours of sleep in the past 2 days. So I have some catching up to do!!

Rearrangement

 So I had a bit of a reshuffle. I put my Mister Hueys up on the shelf in front of me so I can see the pretty rainbow everyday.

 I moved my Zing out of the rack and put them in a basket

 And in the rack, I now have my chalkboard & glimmer mists, maya mists, glazes & glams, distress paint and dimensional pearls. It's easier to see what colours I have now.

And lastly my layout for Sketchbook 3 day 5. Using an old SC kit "Documentary".

Outta glue

I am completely out of adhesive. And I really need some for today. So I stopped in at spotlight to see if they had any this to that refills. Nope.
But they did have punches on special - so I grabbed the fiskars 2 inch circle punch. And some tape. (It was the best adhesive that they had) and I also spied American Crafts Glitter cardstock - AWESOME!!
So here's the question - can you run that kind of cardstock through the silhouette? I don't want to just try it as I don't have a back up blade.

ETA: Here's what I made today.

 Some notebook wrappers using "yearbook"

 I slipped a little envelope inside the cover for notes or receipts or whatever.

 Then I made another one for my mum.

 And I also tried out the bunny treat bag. It's too cute. I think I missed something when cutting so I'm going to have another go at it tomorrow.

Well better go get the veges roasted for tonights dinner.

So quick

I'm heading into birthday season again, which lasts until November. So I thought I'd make some cards today. Just some quickie ones from scraps.

I also did a double page using SC's Who's who kit.
So that's my scrappy effort for the week.

Today I signed up to go to Zumba on Monday. I am kinda freaking out. I am really not an exercise person. NOT. AT. ALL.
But since I have signed up for Michelle's 12WBT - I think I should start getting used to it, since I need to be doing it 6 times a week. Oh, my body isn't going to know what hit it.
I need to lose about 25-30 kgs. Will I be able to do it in 12 weeks? - I don't know. But I'm going to give it my best shot.
Anyway -
Have a fabulous weekend. I am hoping to catch up on some sleep that I have severely missed out on this week. And maybe get in a bit of scrapping time. Wish me luck

And today - this beauty arrived. Hubby decided to surprise me early with it. Oh my deliciousness. I've already made 4 cappuccinos in the past hour. You know - so I can adjust the settings to how I like it. Not because I'm completely addicted and this gorgeous machine is my new BFF.
Now I'm on the hunt for the perfect blend of beans. And maybe some caramel syrup. Oh yummmmm.................

It was like all my favourites in one box..

First up I bought the EK Success label punch. Have been eyeing it off for a while now.

Basic Grey. Mmmm. I'm kinda smitten with Oliver & Olivia. Just couldn't resist.

And last....but certainly not least, some American Crafts. I thought I'd try out their ink pads. I decided on white. I really need a white inkpad, and I'm hoping this is good.


Stocking up on some goodies for Kelly's class next month. Can't wait.

Some more cards

A couple of cards I made. Using mostly hero arts & ranger for the top 3, and some Making memories for the bottom.

I'm making a real effort to use the things that I just had to have - but have sat unopened in my drawer.

Shopping & a delivery

My beautiful hubs took me shopping today and got me some new Nike runners & a Nike + Ipod sensor. So now I am set for when our new treadmill & cross trainer arrive. Ours got ruined when our gym was flooded with the rain last week.

And I also got my 2peas parcel. Awesomely fast shipping. And it was greatly appreciated.

First up, some Studio Calico Anthology. I didn't get enough - I think I checked out too quick!!
