Not feeling the mojo...

I scrapped these last night. Not really liking them. It's the card mostly. I stuck down the flower too quickly and I can't move it. Bugger!!

Haven't done alot this weekend. My car is out of action. Hopefully it will be fixed tomorrow.

Tonight is "So you think you can dance" night. My favourites are Amy, Charlie, BJ, Ben & Tim.

It's so sad that Penny has to go because of her rib. She was fabulous!!

Better go and organise some dinner -

More Happy Mail

Two boxes arrived today. Yay for fast service. I think I only ordered them last week!

Cannot wait to try the embossing powder and those gorgeous Prima Flowers are just so pretty.

I also received my class kit for Cathy's class at BPS. Not long to go until that starts.

And I got a 6 pack of Kokuyo dot roller refills. I love that stuff. And I go through alot!!

I got busy

These 4 were from my Basic Grey page of the month kit. Still have lots left over.

And I broke into my SC March kit over the weekend. I love the colours!!

I think "Apron lace" is my new favourite punch!!

Haven't even touched my massive stash of Pink Paislee yet. Will have to be this weekend I think.

Another happy mail day

I have just been to the post office and picked up another yummy package. I got my 2 Basic Grey page kits and a little bit of AC paper and a tonne of Pink Paislee. Cannot wait to crack into it.

In other news, I signed up for Cathy's new class.

I took her DYL class last year and absolutely loved every minute of it. So I am super excited that she's doing another one.

Anyway - have a fab weekend. Mine will definately involve scrapping ....and Grey's!! ;o)

Couldn't they be a little more careful?

Really. Would it hurt the postal service to take a little bit more care with parcels? Don't they know how precious the contents are inside that box?

So happy to have received this box today. Yummy yummy goodness!! Can't wait to play with it. Perhaps tomorrow.

No scrapping today. Just a couple of really really basic cards. I think I may go back and add something.

I placed my very first order from 2 peas yesterday. I wanted some American Crafts embossing powder......and who knows when or if they'll even show up in Australian stores. Hope it gets here quickly. Has anybody else played with it? I've heard that it is really smooth and gives good coverage. And the colours are just yum!!

Still hooked on it

I am still loving Basic Greys Bittersweet. I made some cards from the extras.

And I also got this yearly planner from here. It's pretty cool. It has all these customisable pages. You can slip in photos or pretty paper - and then you have a book that's all your own. I love it.

I am in a scrappy mood at the moment and really hoping my SC kits arrive today. I am itching to play with them.

What else am I waiting on? Oh, I went a bit crazy for Pink Paislee and ordered a fair bit of it.

And I did manage to get signed up for the Basic Grey Page of the month kit (just managed to get 1 of the last 2 spots)- so I am expecting March & Aprils kit too.

The Things You Find - when you clean under your desk

I sometimes love IKEA

Hubby took me for a drive up to Ikea today and bought me a massive Expedit. He also made me get 5 Lekman boxes too. I only wanted one. But 5 have definately come in handy. 2 contain my stamps and 2 contain my punches. Have pretty much just shoved stuff on there. And still trying to organise things on my desk.

So exhausted.

I'll be leaving the rest until tomorrow.

I am so very happy. It has really given me so much more room than before. And everything will finally have a home.

Now I just need to convince hubby that I need a new chair!!

I LOVE Basic Grey

So I loved doing the January BG POTM kit so much that last night I started on the February one(this one by Becky Fleck). So full of bittersweet yumminess. Again, I need to fill in the journalling.

It was so fun - I really need to get my hands on the March one, but I think I missed the boat.

I also ended up making a card from the leftovers of January. I just love those butterflies.

It's so funny, since I started scrapping - the one company that I was intimidated by was Basic Grey. I just didn't know what to do with their papers. My neighbour bought a whole pack of Lollipop Shoppe within 24hours of our introduction to scrapping. (I think it's still on her shelf)
But now.....I am loving the BG. I would have to say that they are at the top of my list....along with AC of course (because I would just die without thickers) ;o)

Finally some scrapping

Got some scrapping done last. At last.

I used the Basic Grey January 2009 page-of-the-month kit. I just followed the instructions by Kelly Goree. I've just got the journalling to do - just waiting on my new pen to come. And I've still got quite a bit of product left from the pack. I plan on making cards from the leftovers.

The other layout I did a while ago. Using the december SC kit. I have gotten so much use out of that one and still have a ton left.

Sort of pushing things around my desk at the moment - trying to make it feel less cluttered. It's driving me crazy. I so need some storage!!

Hooray

So it's all sort of back together again. Now I just have to re enter my blog links.

I think I'll save that for another day. Getting tired of playing with it!!

Received my Lush order the other day. It was great timing as I was almost running out.

Haven't scrapped this week. Had planned to tonight but ended up putting my blog back together - and that took longer than expected.

I grabbed 2 page of the month kits by Basic Grey from AMLT. They've been sitting on my desk for over a week - so I definately plan to get stuck into them tomorrow.

I want to have them done by the time my SC kits come. I am so excited. They were so gorgeous this month.

And for those that asked about that punch from a previous post - I got it from my local scrap shop. I haven't seen it online anywhere, but if I do I'll post the link.

And for something new - I jumped on the Twitter bandwagon. ( getting in some practice for CZ's new class....which I cannot wait for).
