Babies everywhere

My friend gave birth to a baby girl this morning....2 weeks late!!

So I made her this card. This stitching took ages - probably because I ran out of thread 3 times.

Been kicked down to dial up - so be back on November the 2nd when the new month kicks over.

So much has gone on this week - work wise. And it's been exhausting.

I stayed up last night and watched Greys and did a layout for class. I think I am a little obsessed with aqua. I've been reaching for it quite often.

Still waiting for my October Calico Kit. Still waiting for my Slice. And still waiting for my Baby Kit to be shipped.

I am not the most patient person in the world - but I guess it will give me time to organise my pics and stuff.

I moved my things around again. I pulled my bench table closer to my main desk so that it is kind of like a U shape. Which means I have everything at arms reach - which I love!!

Gotta go -

Have a fab Saturday. I intend on doing a bit more scrapping ;o)

Playing catch up..

I did another layout for DYL class. Design by Cathy Zielske.

I had a few problems with the measurements, which made me put off doing it for so long. But I had some time today so I got stuck into it. I really enjoyed the process. And I really like the layout. It was alot of fun to do.

Might do the other 2 tonight.

Edited to add: It is now 12:30am and I have just finished this little layout (Cathys design for Design your life). It has taken 5 hours...seriously!! I don't think I have been so indecisive in my whole life!! And I don't think I like it!! I am so not good with colour. Oops!!

No - I am not trying to tell you that I am having a baby (I wish, though!!)

I caved and ordered this cute kit from here.

I figured that since it is reversible (boy/girl) I could use it to get both my kids baby albums done.

I also have these yummies heading my way. Yum. Yum. Yum.

And for the most exciting thing. Guess who is getting one of these??

Happy World Card Making Day

I was browsing this morning and came across a video on youtube by Kelli Crowe. So I scraplifted her card. Hers is way better!! But I had a heap of fun and now I am covered head to toe in glitter!!

Class has started

Cathy's class has started over at Big Picture.

Up Late

Well it's not that late....but I should be in bed already. Got an early morning tomorrow.

But hubby is at work & the kids are asleep.....so I thought I'd make some cards.

One for my neice to be.

And a chrissy card.

I'm not that fond of either - but there you go.

I was just browsing the web the other day and I spotted some new design cards for the Slice. So I swapped my order to include Fa La La. So cute. Really wish it would hurry up and ship. I can already picture those cute little reindeer on my christmas cards. Come on Making Memories!!! I need it!

Cathy Z's class is tomorrow. Not sure whether it will be online in an hour and a half. Or will it be my afternoon. Guess I'll have to wait & see. Looking forward to it though. Got my cardstock today - so I am all set.
