Busy girl

So I'm up late working tonight so I decided to get started on my canvas.

I didn't like how the butterflies came out so I decided to outline them in black pen.

I have tried all the pens I have. None work.

I think the paint may still be a bit too wet.

So I decided to leave it until tomorrow when it will be completely dry.

Then I thought I'd make a card for my DH's upcoming birthday.

Not sure if I like it.

I hope he does though ;o)

Happy Scrappiness

What a good day.

I managed to get my order in for Rainbow Sushi and I also received my Studio Calico Kit today. I am going to get stuck into it tonight I think.

I am so happy.

I think I may ditch the paint and paint it the same colours as my clock - just not sure yet!

But I really love these paint colours!!

I love getting scrapping new scrappy things to inspire me!!

Happy Mail

It is Tuesday...

But it feels like Wednesday. I have thought it was Wednesday all day today.
I was all ready to watch The Starter Wife and Cane. Bummer :o(
So I made a card instead.

I received my albums yesterday. I have filled both of them and I still have a box of layouts to put somewhere!!
Oh, and I got the wrong size refills. I may have to punch extra holes in them and try and smoosh them in.

I ordered some White embossing powder and some Heat and Stick powder today. It'll take about 2 weeks. But just as long as I get it by Valentines day, I'll be happy!!

I was reading Ngaires blog post today. And I saw the link she had to an etsy shop for personalised rings. I scooted straight over there and ordered one as it is my hubbys birthday this month - and I thought it would be a really great present. Quite genius, really.
I don't think I'll get it in time. Oooh ~ just thinking I could give it to him for Valentines Day.
Yeah. Except now I have to come up with another present for his birthday.

Today we have had showers but it's been so hot and muggy.

Yucky weather.

Quickly printed this photo out tonight and scrapped it.

Got another pic to do but it's so hot in here ~ I think I'll do it tomorrow instead.

I'm hoping I get a nice suprise in the mail tomorrow. I feel the urge to get organised!!

Just posting another layout from tonight.

I tried watching a movie, but I couldn't get into it.

So just kind of bumming around.

Getting washing done. Hooray.

Cool. Now it's 14 minutes til my birthday!!

1 sleep to go

So I made the digi camera one last night and the suprise one today.
Weather is still cold and rainy.
I'm happier with the way my scrap space is set out. I like to be able to see my things (that way they get used) and have easy access.
Still have a bit more sorting and cleaning out to do ~ but I'll get there.
My friend Lee was happy with all the stuff I gave her last night.
No Mail Today!
Bummer. I was planning on sorting out my photos and layouts tonight. I guess that will have to wait until next week.

Early presents

Hubby bought me a Clip it up for my birthday. It arrived today, so I used it today!!

It didn't quite hold as much as I wanted it to. But I shoved as much as I could on it.

I took the opportunity to do a clean out tonight. Got rid of another box load of stuff that I've just been keeping. So I have a little bit more space.

I definately need to get some more cardstock!!

Just waiting on my albums to arrive - and then I can get my layouts out of the boxes on the floor. (I'll gain a little bit more space there too)

Mum is giving me money for my birthday so I have ordered this kit from Studio Calico. Can't wait to get it. So so cool!! It's a calendar canvas.

Doesn't it look like so much fun!

It is so wet here. It feels like the rain will never end!!

Definately good movie weather!! Or scrapping ;o)
