I got one today. It was my early christmas present.

Here's another pic from my xmas layout.

Today I received these yummy yummy ribbons and some ribbon stiff that I won last week on the Aussie Scrap Source Blog!!

Still no ink - so I have no scrapping stuff to share :o(

But how's this for lucky...I went with hubby dearest to get some work pants the other day. And after looking in about 5 shops, we went to Kmart. So while he's looking at the pants. I went and had a look in the toy section. First lane that I walked into...and what did I see?

The Bumblebee Transformer. Could not believe it. I grabbed it and practically ran to the checkouts. Now my christmas shopping is done.

Still haven't written my cards yet. Bad girl!!

Just not going right!!

I got my sewing machine today...Hooray!!

I went to Spotlight to get some thread.

And have been trying all afternoon to get the damn machine threaded and working.
And it's just not happening!!

I need my mum!!
She's got to go to work now so she is going to drop around tomorrow afternoon between shifts and come and sort it out for me.

I am so bummed.
I mean I only have a couple of days before it's time to put the tree up - and I wanted to make all my decorations before then.

I hope she can fix it for me. Knowing me and how totally inept with sewing I am - it's probably something so simple.

I hope so!!

And another christmas one

This took me a long time. I sketched the tree ( i was inspired by my Gloria Jean coffee mug) onto a sheet of cardstock and then cut it out with a craft knife. My fingers are still sore!!

Then I stuck Swarovski crystals on for the baubles and they didn't want to stay on.

And my ink ran out half way through so I had to print the smaller ones in black and white.

Big disaster. But I like how it turned out.

And that's all that matters!!

Happy Sunday.....I mean Monday - time got away from me again... Ooops!!

No cleaning today...

But I did scrap. Christmas again.

I love Christmas. It is my favourite time of year. I always loved it when I was a kid. And I really love that my kids love it too.

I might have some news next week. It's a bit exciting. But it might not happen.

So you'll just have to wait until next week. Can you wait that long? I can't.

Busy beaver

I took Fiona Carters online class today. It is meant to be christmas traditions - but I hae no photos of ours - so I just did Christmas Day instead.

Still no sign of my sewing machine....surely it will be here next week!!

I'm getting really behind in Kims classes!!

After spending tomorrow cleaning (yuck) I will make an effort to get more organised and get things done!!

It has been a long week this week.

So glad it is Friday!

Hello

I did this one last night but my batteries were dead so I had to wait until today to post it.

I've just finished off my chrissy cards. So now I just have to print out photos and write them. I'll save that job til tomorrow.

I got a mm album a little while ago. It's 6 X 9. And it's been sitting in my cupboard ever since. See, I'm a 12 X 12 scrapper. I just can't do other sizes.

But I've got this thing going where I am trying to use up old stuff. Not that this album is old - but I feel if I don't do something with it soon - it's just going to stay there forever.

So tomorrow after i get everything done, I am going to have a crack at it.

I think I'm going to use some pre - digi pics - try and get that pile down too!!

Need to use my stuff. It's all piling up at the moment.

Also, I went to Officeworks today and bought a folder and some transparencies. Then I dragged all my acrylic stamps into the garden and proceeded to transfer them all to this folder.

There was a small disaster when I tore 3 stamps (i was not happy) but I managed to get the rest safely tucked in.

Now I have so much more room where my stamps used to be. It's great.

And it doesn't hurt that I am totally in love with the folder. So yummy!!

Got some Happy Mail today.

Yay.

And the Doodlebug Chipboard Letters are just way too cute. I feel that I am going to need these in every colour!!

My sewing machine hasn't arrived yet. Starting to get a bit nervous.

Kim Archers classes start on Friday I think, or is it tomorrow? I better check. How fantastic. So excited.

Can't wait.

Still need to go and get a few things.

I think I'll be having a crafty weekend!!

The kids were home from school today. Both were a bit crook. Poor little things!!

I went and did grocery shopping, some housework, and actually made a chrissy card that I liked!!

Cold

I think I'm coming down with a cold. Great.

The weekend was really busy. Caitlin had her dancing concert - so that took up all of yesterday and most of the night.

Saturday we traded in the PS2 and all of the games and bought a PS3. Michael was so excited.

And that's about it.

Waiting to get my sewing machine. Hopefully it arrives tomorrow.

Late

Have been trying to make chrissy cards all week but I'm really not happy with them. And it's really starting to bug me.

Nothing is just coming together for me.

Think I've seriously lost my mojo in a big way!!

Decided to scrap a page and see if it helped. I think it looks better in real life than it does in the pic. But, it didn't help!

Went to see the doctor and he said no carpal tunnel - but he doesn't know what's wrong. Thinks it may go away on its own. If not, I have to get an xray.

Yesterday I bought a sewing machine off ebay. Hooray!!! I absolutely cannot sew to save my life. But I signed up for Kim Archers christmas classes and I think there may be sewing - so I though it may be wise to get a sewing machine. Total bargain and free shipping. Gotta love that!! Should be here early next week.

And I also received my yummy stamps from ebay too this week. Not bad for $15. They were the Merriest wishes from Hero Arts. So cute!!!

Better get going. Time is getting away from me tonight!!

Tired

I made these with the Kelli Crowe collection. I haven't touched my Love Elsie stuff yet.

I'm off to see the Neurologist tomorrow. I hope it goes well. My hand has been playing up today.

CRASH

My laptop finally kicked the bucket.

Lucky my beautiful hubby came to the rescue.

He even loaded all my pics and data from the old one onto this one before I got up today.

Just need to put my camera software on and then I'll be cooking. Woohoo!!

What a good man!!

P.S - Shazz, the spider web from the halloween layout is a sticker from the Halloween line by Making Memories. They are very very cool!! So was the tree and the house on Caitlins layout.

Happy mail day...again

It was such a nice suprise today.

I received a parcel from Christy from The Scarlet Lime.

How cool is this stuff. Not one, but 2 flocking and foiling kits. I so wanted these.

And look at all this yummy Halloween goodness. Happy day indeed.

Had to make a quick stop into the Scrapyard to get some adhesive.

And hopefully I'll get some scrapping done tonight.

Happy Scrap day

My friend and I went to The Scrapyard today. I bought a few sheets of cardstock, Kelly Panacci christmas stamps and the new Queen&Co Christmas stamps. So yummy.

Then this afternoon I received my parcel from ScrapInStyle. WOW!!!

There was so much stuff in there. I absolutely can't wait to play with it all!!

I also placed my order for the November collection today. I think it's called Autumn Bliss. Go have a look. Such warm colours. They also had the new Doodlebug chipboard letters so I had to get them too. I have been waiting patiently for shops to get them here. But I haven't found any in Australia yet.

I hate that we have to wait so long for product! (well not now - my wait will be only about 10 days!!)

Hopefully I will get some scrapping done tomorrow ;o)
