Finishing

 

 So although I'm a little later than I usually am - I finally finished off my Christmas cards and they are ready to be mailed.

And last night I went to Tamar's Crafting circle and worked on this for my baby girl. I forgot to take the ribbons, so I got it finished off today.
It's my sweeties graduation on Monday ( she only decided she wanted to go in the last 48 hours) so we trekked off to the shops today to get an outfit for her. It was absolutely crazy. But we did manage to come home with a dress, new shoes and a necklace. So pretty happy about that!

I just hope I don't have to go anywhere near the shops again!!

Happy December

 I've been wrapping presents and trying to get organised.

And of course at the last minute I decided to do a december daily album. Except I forgot to take a pic yesterday. So typical me.
You should see my Project 365 album. Not good.
Going to try and finish my Chrissy cards over the weekend. Or at least work out how many more I need to make.

Just quickly

It's way too early for a Sunday - considering I've been up for a while.

Anyway - I haven't been feeling really scrappy lately - so I threw together another quick card with my scraps.

And I have signed up for this!! I have taken it the past 2 years and loved it. Loved everything I have created from it. And am so ready to get into the Christmas spirit.

Have a fabulous Sunday

Nearly a whole month...

without blogging. Oops. Everytime I went to to do it, I'd get distracted by other stuff.
Anyway.....

I haven't scrapped much. Just made a couple of cards as a gift for my nan.Using my most favourite butterfly stamp from Studio Calico.

I've also been busy in the kitchen with my thermomix.
I have made some yummy stuff.
One night I made roasted vegetable soup & portugese rolls. I didn't even start cooking until after I got home from school. It was so quick.

And on the weekend I made pizza from scratch, even my own sauce - which was pretty delicious.
Tonights dinner was lasagne. The bechamel sauce only took 12 minutes and was as smooth as silk and I didn't even have to stir it. It was fantastic.
I love my thermomix.

I'm still getting over being sick. Back to the docs on Monday. Hopefully it'll be all good. Had a CT scan last week - so I'm waiting on those results.

2011 planner

The other day I signed up to this class and decided that since I had some time today - I'd start printing out everything and put it together.

I still need to embellish the cover...

And get some bigger binding rings (Mine were just a smidge too small)

I used pumice stone  & tumbled glass inks on HO3 papers.

I love how it came out. So cute! Can't wait to use it.

Shopping...but not the scrappy kind

Last week was a shopping kind of week.
On Monday, our new iphone4's arrived

Then on Thursday I ordered a Thermomix (hopefully it will get here this week)

And hubs got an iPad

And my dryer finally died. So on Friday we replaced that - with this

And next on the list is the Christmas shopping......
It's coming up way too fast!!

Some goodies

I got another delivery today.
Some white cards to start on my Christmas cards. And some SC stamps & Hero Arts stamps. And the glimmer mist I got was Granite.

Then I got some House of 3 goodies -

I really want to get organised and get all my cards done before December. I'm also thinking about making gifts.

I put the outside of the album together this afternoon. Used granite on the top half and turquoise on the bottom.

WOW!! So early this month. My gorgeous Studio Calico kits arrived today.
They are beautiful!!
Won't be playing just yet - we've all got the flu. Not so fun.

Back to bed for me :o(

No more hoarding

I have been savoring the Dear Lizzy papers since I first got them. Why? Because I felt they were too pretty to use. And I wanted to save them for something special.
Well not anymore. I broke into them all and used them to decorate my 7 gypsies vintage receipt holder. (Which had also just been sitting in my room. Unused.)
It feels pretty good to make my squishy little scrap room so cute.

I didn't get my Back 40 kit yesterday - so I'm holding on to hope that it will get here today.
Cross your fingers for me!

I couldn't wait

So I cracked into the kit last night while I stayed up for the Studio Calico kit release. I couldn't help myself. Had a bit of an injury with the cropodile and my hand. But it's all good.

Managed to order everything I wanted from SC this month. Still waiting on Back 40 to arrive. Hope it gets here this week.
