I'm not a happy bunny today. It's just a sucky day.

Here's another page from the first day at school.

I did a few more late last night, but haven't had a chance to photograph them.

Our air conditioner broke last night. The cold works fine but the hot doesn't work at all. It was so cold.

Holden rang to say I can pick up the car at 4:00pm tomorrow. Then they called later to say that they will not guarantee the paint protective finish (that costs extra) as there is some minor scratches in the front. Not happy.

Hope tomorrow is a better day.

I got the dog!!

So here's 2 more from my book. Totally loving it.

And today after total chaos, I got the call. "It's been approved". Woohoo!!

I am now the proud owner of a car. Yes we already have 2. But this car is all mine. Can fit all the family in. Is not to be shared with 4 other people. It's mine. Mine to have on weekends. Through the day. Night too. Mine 24 hours a day!! Hooray.

I am confined to the house almost every single day as other people use our cars. (they are work cars) And now I have my own. I am so happy I could burst. Good Day Today. Actually great day today. But I won't be getting it until maybe Friday. I can't wait.

Yay for me!!

Might go buy a lotto ticket coz I am feeling pretty damn lucky today.

So here's the next 2 pages of my book. I started at Christmas Day. Used all my leftover doodlebug stuff from 2 years ago.

Still haven't heard anything from the man about the "dog". I hate waiting for other people to get organised. Really can't stand it. So since I have to wait on other people- the earliest I will hear about it, will be tomorrow afternoon. I just want it before the weekend.

Today I received my Poppy Ink July Kit and Nic Howards new book "That's Life". Can't wait to get into both of them. The PI Kit has a cute little scallop stamp in it. (that's really what I wanted the kit for).

Monday

So here's the cover and inside page of my new everyday book thing. I am really enjoying doing it. Having lots of fun.

I went to see a man about a dog today. Ok, it wasn't a dog but I did see a man. I don't want to get excited so I'm not going to say anything just in case it's a no. But I might have a new toy by the end of this week. I will probably know by Wednesday. Might have it by friday. And no it isn't anything related to scrapping. Although that would be nice too.

It was the first day today that both my kids have been back at school. It was so quiet. Didn't have time to scrap anymore pages because my computer was playing up. Then I had to go and do some work stuff. Didn't get home until after 5. Then I had to quickly make dinner before my hubby left for work. It is really cold tonight. Has been really cold today too. I think I need to bring the heater in here. It would be much nicer.

Target Toy Sale starts this week. So I am heading there on Thursday morning. I hope it isn't too crowded. Fat chance.

Ok. Off now. It's f-f-f-f-freezing...

Guess what the kids are watching

Cakey got it in the mail today. I made them hot choccy's with marshmallows and some popcorn and haven't heard a peep out of them.

I stated making a book today (just like the clever LEE) to document our everyday life. Managed to cover it and do 2 pages for christmas and then I got stuck at my birthday as I had no pics.

I'll give it another go tomorrow. I have a fair bit to catch up on. But I'm liking it so far.

I have run out of albums and if I do any pages they are just being shoved on my shelf in piles so I think this is a good alternative. Using up lots of leftovers.

Don't have many plans over the weekend. Babysitting for my neighbour tomorrow as she is taking her son to see Harry Potter.

That's about it.

I cannot believe how cold it is here. My hands are completely numb. I have to rub them together, type, rub them together, type........

Michael went back to school yesterday. He had a good day. They all had to swap seats around and he ended up being moved next to the girl he likes. Their birthdays fall on the same day. So cute. I don't know if she likes him - but she is nice to him. Thats enough for me. Michael has Aspergers Syndrome and sometimes kids are really mean. Which means I worry alot for him.

So I think it's pretty sweet that there is someone that is nice to him.

Caitlin has been naughty today. I think she's getting bored with everyone going back to school. She is absolutely lost between 9 and 3. No kids around. Bring on Monday.

Peace for me. And also means I can get my chrissy shopping done!

One page

So I managed to do one page today with the goodies from my kit.

Also stopped in at The Scrapyard and bought some goodies. Bought 25 sheets of white cardstock, some bits and pieces from the Toby line from Love, Elsie. Also got some green chipboard letters. Oh and some tape rolls. $75 later. (bit naughty considering I only wanted some cardtock and tape.) Especially after I spent too much at Spotlight over the past 2 days.

I am going to have to be on a serious budget from now on. SERIOUS!!

Off to make a cuppa before Big Brother starts.

I think I am obsessed....

With aqua. Just can't get enough of it at the moment. I love it.

Also have a bit of an obsession with glitter! So what did I buy - aqua glitter.

I am so digging that aqua tape that came in my Collection - yummo!

And the BE LOVELY tag is from the one and only Rebecca Sower! It is so staying in the clear package up on my shelf!!

I am so in love with my SIStv Collection - I can't actually bring myself to use it. I think I need a couple more days to drool over it!

Michael went back to school today, so Cakey and I headed to Spotlight. She wanted a candle making kit, and I wanted some glitter and kindyglitz and some ink pads.

Have nothing really planned for the rest of the week.

Perhaps a bit of scrapping. Got 2 more birthdays coming up so need to get cracking on some more cards!

Last day of holidays

It is so cold. I don't like it. Bring on Summer..or at least Spring.

My scrapping room is in the garage and it's too cold to go in there for too long.

Michael goes back to school tomorrow. Then I have Cakey with me all week. This is the trouble with sending them to 2 different schools! She gets so many more holidays than him. I'm just glad it wasn't the other way round because she would be kicking up a stink that he got more hols than her!!

So glad Michelle went on Big Brother last night. She was driving me crazy.

Hopefully my SIStv Collection will arrive this week. Cannot wait to play with it. Yummy!

It's the end of school holidays. Back to getting up early. Yuck.

I am definately not a morning person. Give me late nights and sleep ins any day!

I watched Shooter this week. I loved it. Mark Wahlberg is so hot!!

Michael goes back to school on Tuesday - but Caitlin doesn't go back untill the following week. So I'm trying to get all the christmas shopping done while the Toy Sales are on. Without getting busted.

Girls are so easy to buy for. But I find boys to be much harder. Maybe it's the getting older thing too. I think as they get older the more expensive it gets!
