Been scrapping a little today.

Also did the grocery shopping.

Really want to get my hands on some yummy new scrapping goodies (since giving away all my pp)

Want to make the kids some canvas calendars so they can keep track off assignments and things that are due. I actually might make a start on them on Tuesday when the kids go back to school.

I am so in love with Etsy at the moment. I could get lost on there for hours. So much yummy stuff.

I'll have to find the link for this particular shop - I ordered some cute stickers a little while ago. I'm expecting them this week. They are going to be so cute!! Can't wait -

A card

I made a card tonight for valentines. Really quick and simple.

I got my order from Stampin Up - which was heat and stick powder and some white embossing powder.

So I used the heat & stick on the heart with some red glitter.

It didn't come out as glittery as I wanted. Maybe it was the kind of glitter that I used. Not quite sure. Maybe I overheated it.

Anyway, it was fun.

Went to the Scrapyard today and bought this little tray thing that holds pens and ribbons and paint - so I painted it. Got sick of doing it and just painted it green. Looks so boring. May try and fix it tomorrow.

Also got some MM Noteworthy papers and some paint and some CI fancy edged papers. Really like them!

Just not really in the mood to scrap. Have been exhausted all week.

So so tired.

Really need a couple of good nights sleep to catch up.

Glitter thickers. Thicker accents. New fonts. New minimarks. Scalloped and debossed paper. YUM. YUM. YUM.

I'll be saving up for all of it! I LOVE American Crafts!!

On the scrappy front - things have been a bit quiet.

I have only done this Halloween one ( a redo from 2006) and make a quick clock canvas for my hubby for his birthday.

He was bitching that I never make him stuff. So I did.

Just looking at that pic - it is so wrong that my 11 year old son is like only 1cm shorter than me.

Damn those short genes!!

I had a bit of a cleanout a while ago and gave away pretty much all of my pp. So this explains my lack of scrapping enthusiasm.

I went to the scrap shop today but the sad little budget only extended to the clock mechanism, some mod podge and some white paint.

Yep - inspiring stuff!

Hopefully my SIStv parcel will arrive on Monday.

Last week of school holidays.

We went to see Alvin and the chipmunks yesterday. It was a cute movie.

Got plans to go to a theme park this week.

Have to see how busy work is though.

Well - that's it for me.

Going to try and finish my book tomorrow so I can start on the 2 new ones I have waiting for me.

Just a card

I haven't scrapped any layouts lately.

Don't know what's going on.

Had to quickly make a card tonight for my friends daughters birthday. Which had slipped my mind. Ooops.

Here we go again....

I just couldn't leave it alone!!
So I added more bling to the butterflies, some rubons, a flower and orange bling to the actual calendar frame.

Possibly, I have gone overboard. But, I can't go back now.

So this is how it's going to stay.

I am gonna learn to love it!!

And if worse comes to worst - I can always give it away ;o)

I changed my mind...

So I decided that i didn't really like the yellow with the green and decided to change it to blue.
Except now I feel like I need to add something else.
What am I missing??

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I painted the edges and added the rubons.

I've just added a layer of Mod Podge and it should be dry tomorrow.

So...

this is where I am up to at the moment. I didn't like just the outline of the antennae of the butterflies so I decided to use some swarovski crystals instead.

It's taking a while.

Not sure how I am going to attach the overlay. I was thinking maybe brads.

I still have to paint the sides. Probably should have done that first.

Silly me.

I'm going to try and finish it tonight. The weather is really cool and rainy so it's nice to be in my room scrapping!!
