I am completely out of adhesive. And I really need some for today. So I stopped in at spotlight to see if they had any this to that refills. Nope.
But they did have punches on special - so I grabbed the fiskars 2 inch circle punch. And some tape. (It was the best adhesive that they had) and I also spied American Crafts Glitter cardstock - AWESOME!!
So here's the question - can you run that kind of cardstock through the silhouette? I don't want to just try it as I don't have a back up blade.
ETA: Here's what I made today.
Some notebook wrappers using "yearbook"
I slipped a little envelope inside the cover for notes or receipts or whatever.
Then I made another one for my mum.
And I also tried out the bunny treat bag. It's too cute. I think I missed something when cutting so I'm going to have another go at it tomorrow.
Well better go get the veges roasted for tonights dinner.
i have no idea if it will run through your silhouette... but i know this one cuts like cutter with a big shot. my bestie made some roses with them.. super cute!
ReplyDeletelove it all !:)
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I can't help you with your question and bummer about the adhesive!
ReplyDeleteBut I really, really love the notebook covers :)
love the idea of a pocket/envelope in your note pad covers! Cute and clever.
ReplyDeleteI haven't run glitter cardstock through my silhouette, but if you try it, copy and paste your shape right on top of itself so it will cut twice. That might work on the thicker paper!
ReplyDeletethose notebook covers are amazing!
ReplyDeletei'm not 100% certain, but i think the cardstock should be fine. i've used the doodlebug glitter stuff w/ my slice w/out a problem!
Cute projects!
ReplyDeleteI'm a Silhouette newbie, so no idea about the glitter cardstock.
OH MY! That bunny treat bag is too cute. And so are those notebook wrappers. Sorry I can't help with Silhouette advise though - I just opened my Cricut. Yeah - I'm a dinosaur!!
