Yellow Obsession

It seems to me that lately I have an obsession with yellow.

I think I go through phases of having to use a particular colour.

It was brown for a really long time. Then aqua. Now yellow. And I am really liking grey too!

On Sunday I managed to order some really yummy SC kits. Cannot wait to get them. Also got the new Heidi stamps. YUM!!! I snapped them up real quick! So cute!!

Only 2 days until Cathy Zielskes Big Picture class. Has anyone else signed up??

End of week

No - I didn't accidently chop this in half. I did this layout for my best friend for her birthday - I just don't think she would appreciate her picture in cyberspace!!

This week I haven't done alot of scrapping. I think I've lost my mojo.

I did realise though that I had run out of A4 white cardstock ( a few days before Cathy Zielske's class) so I had to order some.

Oh and I finally received my SC kits. YUMMO!! Haven't touched them yet as I am saving them to use in CZ's class.

Also managed to download episode one & two of Greys Anatomy season 5. (Makes me very happy!!) I received season 4 on dvd on Tuesday so I had it finished by thursday 5:00am. Had an all nighter to finish it and was very sorry on Thursday because I was exhausted.

Bought a new cd - The Final Conversation of Kings by The Butterfly Effect. Love it. I have all of theirs but this one is my new favourite.

And one more sleep until reveal at SC. So excited. Just got money in my account just in time!!

Well that was fascinating huh!

Some layouts

I had fun reading the comments from the last post...and I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one!!

So last night I managed to get these layouts done. And then my ink ran out!! Spewing. Right in the middle of a scrapping urge.

Hoping the mailman brings my Studio Calico September kits this week! Can't wait to get them.

It worked...

I made a little mess last night and got scrapping. I liked the layout until I stuck the brads on. Oops. Too late so I just had to keep going. Oh well.
This was a card I made a little while ago but forgot to post. I entered it in the Tarisota card comp. I have this obssession with yellow at the moment.

Yesterday I was the biggest klutz. I knocked my iphone off the bench onto the tiled floor. And as I was trying to catch it - I forgot I was holding my coffee in my hand - I stumbled and ended up pouring hot coffee on it.

It is still working, suprisingly. Then the other day I caught my leg on the car door as I was getting out and now I have a huge black bruise. Ouch! I am a disaster!

Anyway - off to enjoy my day. Perhaps a little more scrapping.

My week

I received my carousel and had a lot of fun filling it up.

Also got everything I needed for Cathy Z's class - so I am ready & waiting for it to start.

While I was in the organising mood - I purged over half of my patterned papers and embellishments. Totally cut right back. Also organised my stamps.

Also got this lovely book a while ago. So yummy.

And I got my yummy order of candles from Gabbie. Seriously I can smell chocolate and coffee wafting through my house. Yum. Thanks Gabbie!!

It's the start of school holidays today. 2 glorious weeks of no school traffic. It's gonna save so much petrol.

Not much planned this weekend. I really need to get stuck into some cards. I've got 3 birthdays coming up in early October. Don't like my chances though. Not feeling very creative at the moment. I think my scrappy space is a bit too clean. Maybe I should toss some papers around...make it feel like normal!!

Recovering & happy shopping & a class

Finally recovering from my ear infections - still wondering who on earth could get an ear infection in both ears - besides me!! So glad it is nearly over.

Onto the happy shopping...look at this lovely (shamelessly taken from Gabbies blog) plus some other delectable delights. Seriously - coffee & dessert...nothing better than that. So excited for this to arrive. I love sweet stuff. The candles she makes are absolutely amazing. Go have a look. Yummy indeed!

Then after some major cleaning out - I finally stopped lusting after this and ordered one. It's going to make things so much tidier on my miniscule desktop. That is, unless it is bigger than my miniscule desktop.

And my third happiness (or is it fourth) is that I signed up for this class. Is anyone else doing it?? Let me know. Really excited for it to start.
And now that I am totally broke....I will at least be in super organised, candle heaven, making really well designed scrappy pages.

Not so lucky at all

The antibiotics have not worked and now i have an infection in both ears. So now I am in pain all the time. And pretty much deaf!! When is it going to end??

Not a happy bunny!!

Made a card for Fathers Day. No more scrappies at all. It's not as fun when you are in pain :o(

Update

I ended up in hospital this morning. My ear was so bad it had completely closed up. I have tons of medicine to take and some stronger pain killers. Also have a little wick thing in there so that I can actually get drops in to it.
Hurts so bad and all the medicine makes me feel queasy.
I am not a happy camper today.

Major Ouch

I woke up with a sore ear this morning and it has progressively gotten worse throughout the day. So I got the doctor to come out. I have an ear infection. So sore.

Going to get an early night I think. On antibiotics and I feel a bit sick.

Very late...

I don't know why I even scrapped.

Had such little sleep this week, but decided to scrap tonight anyway. And guess what happens...crooked everything. And nothing that I love.

Another happy mail day

I got these gorgeous stamps from Apple Blossom Studio. They are big and beautiful - and I can't wait to use them. Thanks Joy!

And aren't these amazing - a beautifully illustrated journal and a notepad by Susie Ghahremani. They are absolutely gorgeous. Thanks Susie!

And some more flair and bits from A million little things. They are just too cute to use.

Just waiting for a couple more things to arrive and then I am sworn off shopping! I have absolutely no room.

Got some great photos over the weekend - so now all I need to do is actually scrap!!
