That's much better than calling it the leftovers quilt, isn't it?
This quilt just caused me dramas from the start. And it has taken me forever to complete. I started the top in October last year. I just never loved it. It turned out too small. And I didn't have enough of what I wanted for the back as I cut before thinking.
Then I had dramas with the quilting. And the binding.
I'm just glad it's done.
It's not going to it's new home yet. So I'm just going to have to put up with it a little while longer.
But the good news is, it was the last of my unfinished projects. Hooray!! (Well, except for my queen quilt)
Now I can move onto something fun. Oohhh, what to make??
Oh my gosh, this is stunning, I wish I could sew and create such beautiful things, well done for finishing this beautiful quilt..hugs
ReplyDeleteOh man, that's gorgeous! I wish some one would make one for me!!

ReplyDeleteHow Beautiful, Kelly!
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome Kelly well done on finishing it! Tell me do you sell you quilts? I would love some quilts for my girls beds and while I do sew I have ADHD and cannot see a quilt through to the end!
ReplyDeleteHi Amanda. I don't sell my quilts as I am a beginner sewer and I don't think they are worthy of receiving payment for. Sorry - wish I could help xxx
Deleteoh my goodness! you are so good at this!!
ReplyDeleteOh but I love it so much!!! I think it's just gorgeous. But I know how you feel. I made a king sized quilt for my bed. But by the time I was done I really couldn't stand to look at it anymore.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful, I love how it turned out :)
