I got a delivery today. Another order from Fabric.com.
I bought some gorgeous Birds & bees for my bag.
And I picked up some more for my skirt.
I got some Amy Butler Soul Blossoms to make my jacket.
And this will be my dress
And I picked up a bolt of Decor Bond and a bolt of lightweight interfacing too.
Now just waiting on my order from Hawthorne Threads, which should be here any day now. And I'm all set - ready for class. And some weekend fun sewing for me too.
Looks like a great haul!

ReplyDeleteHello!
ReplyDeleteI'm in your sewing class and I was on fabric.com eyeing that EXACT SAME FABRIC for my dress too! how funny. You'll have to tell me what it is like - feel wise. I want to make a black dress but after seeing Mrs. O in another black dress with square texture pieces on it - I'm on the hunt for a fabric similar to taht one. But the pinstripes seem fab too!
Hey Shannan,
DeleteThat is funny. Great minds huh? That fabric feels very thin & slightly crunchy (not sure of the correct term- feels kinda like a bandage) Thankfully it's going to be lined!!
